I’m just a dog dad who cares deeply about doing things the right way, so building this small business became personal from day one. We were recommended by a family friend to contact Dog Dad 🐾 after we were experiencing a few issues with our 19 month old black Labrador Finn. We also knew that it was us that needed training just as much as Finn. Initially we had a zoom call to discuss our aims/goals and became clear that Neil was entirely understanding, so we booked our first few sessions with him.
Straight away Neil explained training would be at Finns pace, but we knew from puppy classes he is a quick learner, so progress has been pleasingly swift. Neil is a good trainer, explaining the logic behind the methods used, very responsive to questions during sessions or at other times and always providing positive feedback. He’s helped us make walking Finn enjoyable rather than what used to be stressful and in just a few short weeks we can see a huge change in Finn’s behaviour!
He’s more focused when out walking and always engaging eye contact with us. We’re going to continue our journey with Neil to ensure the best outcome for us and Finn and can’t recommend him highly enough! He has been our saviour 🙌
